My story

I grew up on my family’s farm in southwestern Minnesota, where we celebrated our Century Farm in 2024 - one hundred years of hard work, stewardship, and pride in the land. From an early age, I was fascinated by how government worked and how the decisions made at the Capitol reached even the smallest communities like ours. During that time, my uncle served as our state representative and later as Majority Leader. I fondly remember campaign events, parades, and fundraisers being a true family affair. Every gathering seemed to include my Aunt Marge’s famous campaign potato salad - still a staple at community events back home in Fulda, Minnesota.

Community service has been part of my story from the very beginning. From my years in the Girl Scouts to countless school and civic organizations, I learned that leadership isn’t about titles - it’s about showing up, listening, and working hard to make things better for the people around you.

Today, my family and I have planted our roots in Burnsville and Eagan - the place we’ve chosen to raise our children and build our business. Together, we stay deeply engaged in the life of our community: through my service on the Burnsville Economic Development Commission, involvement with the League of Women Voters, the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce, and my history with the Girl Scouts and Junior League of Minneapolis. Andy’s leadership in the Eagan Rotary Club and our family’s participation in the Eagan’s July 4th Funfest are all ways we show how much this community means to us.

Now, I’m ready to expand the impact of that work. Minnesota has give so much to my family - from the values that shaped me to the opportunities we’ve built here - and I want to help ensure it remains a place where families can thrive, businesses can grow, and communities can stay strong.

I’m running for the Minnesota House because I believe in a future where collaboration, common sense, and compassion lead the way.

Community focused. Business minded. Ready to lead.
